INTER-MIX 15 Adhesive/Seam Sealer is a firm, semi-flexible, adhesive/sealant designed for sealing vertical and horizontal seams and joints on automobiles and truck applications. Excellent adhesion to bare metal, primed metal, SMC, FRP, fiberglass, aluminum, and most plastics. DIRECTIONS: 1. The surface must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, rust, old seam sealer, and other contaminants. Use IES Super Cleaning Solvent or IES Specialty Adhesive. Remove to clean the surface. 2. Prime all bare metal with epoxy or urethane primer. Allow primer to cure according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. 3. Follow the IES dual cartridge setup instructions for loading the cartridge into the dispensing gun. 4. Dispense IES 8411/8611 Seam Sealer into the joint or seam. Smooth out if desired with a tool or finger and feather edge. 5. IES 8411/8611 will set up in approximately 15 minutes. 6. Scuff or sand sealer with 320 grit sandpaper prior to priming or painting. 7. Prime and paint per manufacturer’s specifications.
